Pittsburgh Penguins Hiring A Flyers Great?

The Pittsburgh Penguins are completing several interviews this week for their vacant general manager position and after news dropped that Chris Drury was staying with the Rangers, another familiar name surfaced.

The Penguins have asked for permission and received it, to speak with Los Angeles Kings executive Ron Hextall. Pens fans know 'Hexy' very well from his Philadelphia Flyers days and it would be ironic as hell if Hextall was hired and went in there and hit 'rebuild'.

Imagine Hextall is the one who trades Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang and Sidney Crosby? Stranger things have happened.

That appears to be the week long debate - if the Pens should rebuild or should they go for it again?. With only one draft pick in the first four rounds next offseason, the new GM will certainly have to be creative if they want to add talent.
