Sabres' Jack Eichel: 'I'm Going To Start To Take Off'
The Buffalo Sabres haven't played in two weeks but their captain wants to make sure everyone in the league is given a heads up - he's coming!
Jack Eichel can't wait to get back on the ice and is feeling better than he ever has. He's been itching to get back out there and had this to say to the media on Friday:
I’m really excited to get the season going again. I think I’m going to start to take off hopefully. It took a little bit of time for myself at least to get my legs under me during the season. There’s no preseason games. Camp was quick .A little bit of a slow start for me. Not really where I want to be. But I feel like I’ve definitely taken advantage of these two weeks in trying to prepare myself to have a successful next 46 games.
Eichel's Sabres sit with a 4-4-2 record and will restart their season against the New York Islanders. As for Eichel, he currently sits with two goals and 11 assists in 10 games. If fantasy lineups is your thing, you may want to make sure to have Eichel in your lineup on February 15th.

During the pause, Jack Eichel watched a lot of video from last season to see which tendencies helped him have success. Then evaluated his play from the first 10 games this season.
