St Louis Blues Receive Huge Boost
The St Louis Blues are looking to get back to their Stanley Cup winning ways and their lineup looks to be getting a nice addition as forward Vladimir Tarasenko has joined his teammates at practice. The sniper is coming off shoulder surgery and will slowly be worked back up to full speed.
The 29-year-old Tarasenko is a massive part of the Blues forward group and certainly leads their offense. With shoulder surgeries you have to be careful to not push it too early and the Blues are being as cautious as they possibly can.
General manager Doug Armstrong recently met with the media and had this to say about Tarasenko suiting up for St Louis:
The shoulder is not 100%, but it's at a point where the safety mechanisms are in place. He can skate, receive passes, make passes, and shoot to a level of his comfort. He's still a ways away. We won't see him for a number of weeks, but he's on the right track.
