Video: Bennett & Khaira Drop The Gloves At Centre Ice
The Battle of Alberta always lives up to it's name and Saturday night was no different as the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames went toe-to-toe. The Oilers crushed the Flames 7-1 and the game was filled with highlight reel goals, big saves and a few fisticuffs.
Sam Bennett of the Flames and Jujhar Khaira of the Oilers ended up dropping the gloves early on right off a faceoff at center ice which is something you don't see everyday.
Bennett's name has been blasted all over the trade market and on Saturday he showed the more physical side of his game with a fight with Khaira and he also labelled Oilers defenseman Slater Koekkoek and broke his collarbone.
