Video: Blues' Gunnarsson Injured After Ugly Fall Along The Boards

The St Louis Blues are likely to be without defenseman Carl Gunnarsson for the foreseeable future as the veteran defenseman fell awkwardly along the boards on Monday night against the Los Angeles Kings.

The play happened half way through the second period when Gunnarsson was trying to battle for the puck behind the net and had his knee buckle from under him. The Blues are already without Colton Parayko due to a back injury so this is another costly blow to their d-core.

So far this season the 34-year-old Gunnarsson has appeared in 12 games and has recorded two points and has been solid in his own end.
