The Colorado Avalanche couldn't be more thrilled with their young defenseman Bowen Byram. The 19-year-old has arrived on the scene and showed off all his skills. From flashes of elite skill to his skating abilities, Byram has enjoyed a stellar rookie campaign. You can now add a fight to his accolades as the kid stuck up for himself on Friday night against Arizona Coyotes forward Drake Caggiula.

The play happened in the third period as the Avs were up 1-0. Bowen and Caggiula started battling in front of the Avs net and next thing you know the flippers are off.
