Video: Flames' Rittich Headbutts The Wall After Allowing Centre Ice Goal
It's going from bad to worse for the Calgary Flames as they lost to the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night 6-1 and the story was the goal David Rittich allowed in from basically centre ice.
Senators defenseman Erik Brannstrom scored from the neutral zone to make it 4-1 in the second period which was enough for Flames coach Geoff Ward to pull Rittich and the 28-year-old tender took over from there.
Here's a look at the goal and you have to wonder if Rittich gave himself a concussion in the hallway. With Jacob Markstrom already out, Flames fans better hope not:
