Video: Penguins Expecting Bad News on Jason Zucker Injury
The Pittsburgh Penguins are rolling at the moment as the team beat the rival Washington Capitals on Tuesday night, however it may have come at a huge cost.
Forward Jason Zucker went into the boards awkwardly and twisted his right leg pretty badly. These types of non-contact injuries are usually the worst so the team has sent Zucker back to Pittsburgh for further evaluation.
Worst case scenario it's a tear to a ligament in the knee and that would likely shelve the top-six winger for at least eight weeks. The Penguins are always one of the leaders in man games lost as their injuries continue to pile up this season.
Zucker has been sent back to Pittsburgh for more evaluation. Usually not a great sign. But we shall see.
