Zack Kassian & Brady Tkachuk Boil Over In Heated Exchange
Zack Kassian of the Edmonton Oilers has had multiple encounters with Matthew Tkachuk of the Calgary Flames. This time, Kassian went over to the Ottawa Senators bench to give Matt's brother, Brady Tkachuk the business. They didn't drop the mitts, but you know damn well it's going to bubble over at some point.
Gaetan Haas of the Oilers was in on a breakaway with seconds left in the game. He ended up scoring, but the buzzer had already sounded. As this occurred, Kassian and Tkachuk had a little scrum in front of the Senators bench. The refs detained Tkachuk and pulled him away, but Kassian stood there and verbally assaulted every Senator player in sight. At some point, Erik Gudbranson had had enough and tried to fight Kassian, but the refs would not allow it. We can look forward to the Battle of Alberta this weekend and see if Kassian and Matt Tkachuk of the Flames will continue their rivalry. The Oilers and Senators have another back-to-back series next week where we can expect Kassian and Brady to mix it up.
Don't you just love the Tkachuk brothers?
Things are getting heated in the North Division. 👀
