Zdeno Chara Scores With a Big Blast Against His Former Team
The Boston Bruins wanted their captain Zdeno Chara to play this season, but in a limited role. Chara felt he still has more to offer and opted to sign with the Washington Capitals. He just kicked GM Don Sweeney right where it hurts most.
The world is full of injustices, but we can all take comfort in moments like this. Chara blasted the puck from the point and put it behind former teammate Jaroslav Halak. The Bruins didn't think he had enough gas in the tank. Look at him now! He now has 4 points and is a +9 on the season.
