Arizona Coyotes Shopping Left-Handed Defenseman
The Arizona Coyotes currently sit 9-9-3 on the season which has them right in the thick of their divisional playoff race, however, they have some pending free-agents that are likely to be moved before the trade deadline. According to Frank Seravalli of TSN, defenseman Alex Goligoski is likely to be traded before the April 12th deadline as there's been no contract extension talks between the two-sides.
So far this season, the 35-year-old has only recorded one assist in 21 games, however he's playing top-pairing minutes for the club as he's averaging 22:13 of ice-time a night, good for second on his team.
His versatility to play either side of the rink, be it a left-handed shot will be attractive to contending teams. Goligoski is making $5.475 million against the salary cap this season, however his contract is actually only $4 million cash, making him a touch easier to move.

The past four seasons in Arizona he's averaged roughly 30 points so perhaps if he's put in a different situation he can contribute more to the score sheet.
Expect to see the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers and Winnipeg Jets all make calls to the desert to check in on the asking price. It's likely the Coyotes will be asked to retain some salary so expect to see some kind of 'sweetener' heading to Arizona in any deal.
