Don Cherry Weighs In On Tom Wilson Suspension

Don Cherry has hosted The Grapevine Podcast since his unceremonious departure from CBC. He's no less controversial than ever, including his unpopular opinion on the Tom Wilson hit that resulted in a 7 game suspension.

There are some media members who share the same opinion as Cherry, but many believe Tom Wilson's hit on Brandon Carlo should have resulted with a heftier fine.

Here's what he had to say.

He should have got a penalty. I mean you run a guy like that... He did run him from behind. I don't know, seven games though, thats fourteen games because of the shortened season. I didn't think he would get seven games.
