Kings & Senators Complete a Trade
The Los Angeles Kings and Ottawa Senators completed a trade on Monday as the Kings sent forward Mike Amadio to the Sens in exchange for defenseman Christian Wolanin.
Wolanin was recently waived by the Senators and in some cases this sparks some trade interest from other teams. The 26-year-old was a former 4th-round pick of the Senators and has appeared in 15 games this season, recording three assists.
As for Amadio, the 24-year-old was a former 3rd-round selection of the Kings back in 2014. This season he's played in 20 games for the Kings and has yet to score, recording only two assists. Last season in LA he managed to chip in with 16 points in 68 games but unfortunately couldn't been on his performance into this season.
While this is certainly a depth move for both clubs, it's great to see some action as we inch closer to the April 12th trade deadline.
