Marc-Andre Fleury’s Agent Calls Coach Pete DeBoer “Absolutely Laugh Out Loud Ridiculous”
NHL player agent Alan Walsh is an outspoken advocate for the players he represents. Whatever your opinion of him may be, he goes to bat for his players. You may recall him posting a photo during the bubble playoffs of Marc-Andre Fleury with a dagger through his back to express his feelings about Fleury's treatment by Coach Pete DeBoer. Walsh is once again going after Coach DeBoer.
Fleury has been a dominant force this season after uncertainty of whether Fleury or Robin Lehner would be the starting goaltender. Fleury has continued to play at an elite level and Lehner has been sent to the AHL; the question as been answered. Things were going swimmingly in Vegas until today.
Coach DeBoer made public comments suggesting that some coaching adjustments he made to Fleury's game have been the result of his outstanding play. Walsh took exception to these comments and called them "laugh out loud ridiculous."
Pete DeBoer told the Review Journal last month that the helped Marc-Andre Fleury make adjustments to his game.
