Nashville Predators Dealt Huge Blow

The Nashville Predators are currently 8 points removed from a playoff spot. Although it is easier to make up points in this season's division alignment, they have played uninspiring hockey to date. There have been trade rumors surrounding the Predators, and now they've been dealt a huge blow.

The Predators are down three players now that Ryan Ellis and Luke Kunin have been placed on injury reserve and Ryan Johansen has been placed on the Covid-19 protocol list. Ellis will miss 4-6 weeks with an upper body injury while Kunin will miss 2-4 weeks with a lower body injury.

The Nashville Predators twitter account made this announcement, but there is a humorous twist. NASCAR driver, Ryan Ellis, responded to the tweet stating "trade me please", which turned the hockey world upside down for a quick moment. No, Ryan Ellis has not requested a trade out of Nashville, but we can all certainly appreciate the NASCAR driver's sense of humor.
