Nashville Predators GM Discusses Team's Trade List
A few weeks ago Pierre LeBrun of TSN made it known the Nashville Predators were one team to watch as we approach the NHL's trade deadline in April. After LeBrun's initial comments, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported the team only were keeping three players untouchable from trades and they included veteran netminder Pekka Rinne, and defensemen Ryan Ellis and Roman Josi. Well, according to general manager David Poile, you can add Filip Forsberg to that list as well.

Hard times for Predators fans as their team is struggling. They currently sit 24th in the league with a 11-14-1 record and have been hammered with injuries lately as Josi is out for 'weeks'.

While Forsberg doesn't appear to be going anywhere, expect to see names like Mattias Ekholm and Mikael Granlund discussed these next few weeks.
Erik Haula and Brad Richardson are also pending free-agents and will be generating some trade interest around the league as depth forwards who can chip in with some secondary scoring.
The Predators are going to be busy this trade deadline as it's finally time for Poile to 'sell' off some of his assets. Interesting times for Predators fans in Smashville.
