Patrick Kane Hits Another Career Milestone
It's no doubt Patrick Kane will be a first ballot Hall-of-Famer once his career comes to an end. However, he's still at the top of his game despite being 32 years of age. Kane scored his 400th career goal last night against the Detroit Red Wings.
Goaltender Thomas Greiss of the Red Wings had absolutely no chance on the play. He flew up the wing on a two-on-one. Instead of making a filthy pass as he tends to do, he toe dragged Filip Hronek into oblivion. After this display of greatness, Kane buried the puck past Greiss for what would be his 400th career goal.
Kane has tallied 1056 points over 996 career games. The 3-time Stanley Cup Champion will play his 1000th game in the near future, marking yet another career milestone. Team Captain and longtime teammate, Johnathan Toews has not been in the lineup this season due to underlying health concerns. However, Kane has been absolutely dynamite and has given hope to a franchise that was expected to finish at the bottom of the standings.
