Penguins Fear Malkin Could Be Done For the Season

The Pittsburgh Penguins can't go a full season without a major injury and this one may sting the most. Evgeni Malkin was recently hit by Boston Bruin Jarred Tinordi and their knees collided and if you watch closely, Malkin's right knee bent back in ugly fashion.

While there's been no word at this point on just how long Malkin's going to be out for, or the extent of the actual injury specifics, some within the organization are fearing it may shelve him for the rest of the season.

All that head coach Mike Sullivan has said to this point is that the team is evaluating him and he's expected to miss some time, but nothing has been put in stone just yet. Let's hope it's nothing major and Malkin is back sooner than later.
