Vancouver Canucks Claim Another Forward from Maple Leafs
The Vancouver Canucks keep adding from the Toronto Maple Leafs as the team has claimed forward Travis Boyd off of waivers, just a week after claiming Jimmy Vesey.
Boyd is a versatile bottom-six forward who can play down the middle and on the wing. He's been productive for the Leafs so far this season, mostly on the team's fourth line and seeing some spot duty on the top power-play unit.

So far this season, the 27-year-old has recorded three goals and eight points in 20 games. He's signed for this season only, at $700,000.
The Canucks forward group has been banged up this season as the team recently lost Tanner Pearson to injury that's going to keep him out of the lineup long-term, the team is hoping Boyd and Vesey can find some chemistry out west
