Vancouver Canucks Receive Trade Offers on Forward
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Vancouver Canucks have received some trade calls surrounding the availability of forward Tyler Motte.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals and has six points in 15 games this season and is currently sidelined with injury. While he won't light up the score sheet, Motte plays the game tough, isn't afraid of the dirty areas of the ice and loves to stick up for his teammates.

The former fourth-round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks has this season and next on his contract that pays him $1.225 million on the cap. His playoff performance last season where he scored four goals and was a force helped turned heads around the league.
The Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, and Boston Bruins all appear to have interest at this point. Keep an eye on Canucks general manager Jim Benning as a move or two is expected before the April 12th deadline.
