Ever since Toronto Maple Leaf William Nylander was chirped about being a piece of IKEA furniture without the instructions the Leafs forward has been lights out.
Five goals in seven games since the infamous article was released as Nylander is doing his best to shove it down the throat of Steve Simmons. Regardless of his motivation, Nylander was a beast on Monday night as the Leafs took on the Edmonton Oilers.
On this play you will see Nylander win a race to the puck from the neutral zone faceoff and use his body positioning to shield the puck. Once he has the perfect angle it's a thing of beauty as he goes oppo top-shelve.
