Video: Penguins' Tanev Ejected for Boarding Bruins' Tinordi

Tuesday night's rematch between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins was a chippy affair that had a little bit of everything. This included a questionable boarding call on Brandon Tanev, that saw the Penguins forward ejected from the game.

The play happened mid-way through the second period as Tanev was closing in on Bruins defenseman Jarred Tinordi with speed in front of the benches and ended up launching him into the boards.

Penguins players including Sidney Crosby didn't see anything wrong with the hit, it was just unfortunate Tinordi was hurt on the play.

Tanev ranked fourth in the NHL in hits (123) entering Tuesday's outing. The 6-foot winger has never received supplemental discipline through 291 career games.

You be the judge here.....unfortunate-clean hit or illegal move?
