Calgary Flames Noah Hanifin Done for the Season
The Calgary Flames have announced that top-pair defenseman Noah Hanifin is out for the rest of the season due to injury.
The mobile d-man left Calgary's game on Saturday night against the Montreal Canadiens during the first period and never returned, and now we know why.
It's been a decent season for the 24-year-old as he's scored four times and recorded 15 points in 47 games. The Flames are busy trying to track down the Montreal Canadiens for the last playoff spot in the North division, as they sit four points back, meanwhile the Habs have one game in hand.
Hanifin has three seasons left on his contract that sees him paid $4.95 million per season. At this point and time the specifics of his injury are a mystery, however it does appear he's ruled out for the rest of the season.
And, as @RealKyper reported earlier...sources confirm Flames Dman, Noah Hanifin is done for the year. Should have more information later today. https://t.co/8B4HDn32Cm
