The brutal news dropped on Saturday as Price was banged up earlier this week when he was bumped in the head by Edmonton Oilers' forward Alex Chiasson. While Canadiens forward Corey Perry tried to seek some revenge, losing Price long-term would be absolute horrible news for his teammates. Concussions can linger and let's hope this doesn't turn into something that keeps Price out the rest of this season.
So far in 25 appearances, the 33-year-old has a 2.64 GAA and a .901 save %. While it's not his finest season the netminder has been playing better of late ever since Sean Burke came onto the scene as the new goalie coach in Montreal.
Habs fans are holding their breath as we all await the news from this further evaluation.
