Canucks' Alex Edler Suspended for Kneeing Leafs' Zach Hyman
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Alex Edler has been suspended for two games for his knee on Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman.
The play happened during Sunday's contest as Edler was on the ice for a three-minute shift, which ended up being his last as he received a five-minute major and a game misconduct on the play. The 34-year-old Edler isn't considered a dirty player, but this was certainly far from a clean play. He stuck his knee out and caught Hyman who had to leave the game and did not return.

All signs point to Hyman only missing a game or two, which is music to the ears of Leafs Nation as he's one of the Leafs most important players.
