Chicago Blackhawks Defenseman Done for the Season
The Chicago Blackhawks have announced defenseman Adam Boqvist will be out for the remainder of the season with a broken wrist.
The injury occurred during Tuesday night's game when the rear guard took a hard hit from Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak and obviously took the worst of the hit.
The 20-year-old was having a good season, appearing in 35 games and tallying two goals and 13 assists. He was the 8th overall pick at the 2018 draft and has next season remaining on his contract before he heads into restricted free-agency.
