Dallas Stars Dealt Some Tough Injury News
The Dallas Stars will be without forward Alexander Radulov and goaltender Ben Bishop for the remainder of the season as both players have been ruled out of a return.
The team made the announcement on Wednesday. Bishop has been rehabbing his knee post-surgery this whole season and has yet to appear in a game. He tore his meniscus last October and was originally listed as out for five months. Turns out Bishop needs longer to recover as the team hopes to have him back to 100% come training camp next season.
Radulov needs surgery to repair a core muscle injury which usually means a sports hernia. Nothing confirmed at this point as far as the actual injury but he's not expected back. He last played on March 18th and has been in and out of the lineup all season. Appearing in just 11 games he's recorded four goals and eight assists.
Look for both players to be ready to go for the 2021-22 season where the Stars are hopeful Tyler Seguin will also be back and the team can get back to contender status in the Western Conference.
