Detroit Red Wings' Dylan Larkin Out for the Season
The Detroit Red Wings continue to have forwards drop like flies. This time around it's Dylan Larkin who has landed on an injury report and the team announced he will be shut down for the rest of the season.
Larkin won't return this season due to an upper-body injury and joins the likes of Tyler Bertuzzi, Frans Nielsen, and Bobby Ryan who have all been scratched for the rest of the regular season. When your team is 17-25-7 and way out of the playoff race, you can't blame the team for not taking any chances to rush a player back for 'meaningless' hockey.
Larkin finishes his regular season with nine goals, 14 assists in 44 games and looks to rebound back to form next season when the Wings are expected to make a jump into playoff contention once again after several dismal seasons.
