Done Deal: Boston and Ottawa Agree to a Trade
The Boston Bruins needed a defenseman and they have landed a good one in Ottawa Senator Mike Reilly who gets acquired by the Bruins for a third-round pick in 2022.

The 27-year-old is a pending free-agent who can step into the Bruins top-four and provide them an upgrade they desperately need. Boston has been busy these last 24 hours, also acquiring Taylor Hall and Curtis Lazar from the Buffalo Sabres.
The Senators get some good value for a rental as they also moved Braydon Coburn late Sunday night to the New York Islanders. The team will be very busy trying to sell off all their assets as it's been a disappointing season for the Senators after an overhyped offseason.
As for Reilly, he heads to Boston with 244 career NHL games and not one appearance in the playoffs. Will he have what it takes to step his game up in the postseason? Bruins fans are certainly hoping so.
