Pittsburgh and Anaheim Talking Trade
The Pittsburgh Penguins are in talks with the Anaheim Ducks to acquire Nicolas Deslauriers. Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet first reported the deal was done, but now has since retracted his report.

The 30-year-old tough guy would provide the Penguins will some much needed grit as general manager Ron Hextall was very open letting other teams know he wanted a heavy winger. Deslauriers won't be shy to drop the gloves and protect his teammates. It's also worth noting he's signed for next season at $1 million so this is more so a 'hockey' deal than a rental.
In 35 games this season the 6'3 219 pound Deslauriers has chipped in with four goals and eight points and 38 penalty minutes.
