Edmonton Oilers Sign Top Prospect
The Edmonton Oilers took care of some business on Friday as the team announced they have signed first-round pick Dylan Holloway to a three-year entry-level contract.
The 19-year-old was the 14th overall pick at the 2020 draft and brings a strong physical game with a ton of skill and potential that the Oilers will need moving forward. The 6'1 pivot scored 11 goals and had 35 points in 23 games for the Wisconsin Badgers, in his second season in the NCAA. He was named to the First Team, All-Big Ten.
Holloway has also represented Canada on the international stage via the World Juniors. Look for Holloway to join the others sooner than later as he's a big strong kid who has the game to compete in the NHL.
