Toronto Maple Leafs Reveal Plan for Top Prospect
The Toronto Maple Leafs are excited to see defenseman Rasmus Sandin return from injury with the AHL's Toronto Marlies and general manager Kyle Dubas made it known, expect to see Sandin with the Leafs sometime soon.
Kyle Dubas on the TSN pre-game, speaking about Rasmus Sandin: "We would expect him, at some point here in the second half of our season, to contribute to the Leafs and be ready to go for the playoffs with us."

The 21-year-old has been banged up this season, missing a month and a half with a broken foot, but returned to practice on Monday.
Is there a set timeline for Rasmus Sandin to return to game action?

Marlies coach Greg Moore: "Not right now. We'll get some good practices this week & then, as a staff, we'll have discussions with the Sports Science department & see where he's at at the end of the week"
Sandin has played in 29 NHL games, recording nine points and would replace Leafs defenseman Travis Dermott in the lineup. This assuming Dermott isn't dealt before the April 12th trade deadline. Sandin was a former first-round pick in 2018 and if he remained healthy this season, it's likely he would have been called up already.
The Leafs are expected to make at least one trade before next Monday's deadline. Don't expect to see Sandin included in any announcement.
