Video: Buffalo Sabres Receive Penalty for Having 10 Skaters on the Ice

The Buffalo Sabres were up to their old tricks on Friday night as the team took on the Washington Capitals. The play happened late in the first period as the team was down 2-1 to the Caps. The Sabres were as lazy as you could get with their line change and ended up with 10 skaters on the ice.

Shockingly this was called too many men...

Laugh it up, the Sabres have become the punchline of the NHL this season as it's been embarrassing at times for the club. The spotlight isn't going anywhere this weekend neither as the team is close to trading Taylor Hall, their considering offers for Jack Eichel and their GM is running out of options to keep his job after just being hired a few months ago.
