Video: Flyers Nolan Patrick Hit in the Head With Teammate's Shot
Nolan Patrick can't catch a break as the Philadelphia Flyers forward was hit in the head on Thursday by a shot from the point from his own teammate. Considering his health history, you hate to see this kind of thing happen to a promising young talent.
After being selected second-overall at the 2017 NHL draft Patrick has only played in 187 games, tallying 69 points. In the 42 games he's appeared in this season, Patrick has managed eight points. Plays like these aren't what you like to see for someone who's trying to find their legs and make a significant impact for their team.
AV says that he talked to Nolan Patrick after the game, Patrick told him everything was fine.
