Video: Golden Knights' Stephenson Ejected for Nasty Elbow on Kings' Bjornfot
The elbows have been flying recently and Gordie Howe would be impressed with this one as Vegas Golden Knights forward Chandler Stephenson was tossed from the game after delivering a nasty high elbow on Los Angeles Kings defenseman Tobias Bjornfot.
The play happened in the second period as the Kings were up 4-1 on the Golden Knights and Stephenson was obviously frustrated by the team's struggles. He closed in hard on the 19-year-old Bjornfot, jumped and landed a brutal blow to the head.
Chandler Stephenson was assessed 15 penalty minutes tonight for his elbow (and he might hear from the department of player safety too).

He had 36 penalty minutes in his career previously over 240 games. #VegasBorn
