Video: Maple Leafs Auston Matthews Scores Sensational Goal vs Canadiens


The Toronto Maple Leafs once again defeated the Montreal Canadiens and early on in Tuesday night's contest, Auston Matthews scored one of the craziest goals of the season.

New line mate Nick Foligno tried to sauce one from the half-wall to Matthews who was streaking in, but a Habs defender ended up getting in the way and had the puck bounce up off his leg. Matthews then proceeding to show off some of the best hand-eye coordination in the league to score a sensational goal.

Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen just shrugged his shoulders after like to say 'what am I supposed to do with that?'. Matthews hand-eye skills come from training on the ice but also from being a tremendous golfer and someone who could have played NCAA baseball.
