Video: Panthers' Bennett Fights Blue Jackets' Bayreuther, Scores 1st goal for Florida

Sam Bennett is making quite the impression on the Florida Panthers and is showing off he loves sticking up for his teammates. The Panthers battled it out with the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday and after Bennett's line mate Anthony Duclair was hit high by Jackets' d-man Gavin Bayreuther, Bennett stepped in and dropped the gloves.

This wasn't the only work Bennett put in on Monday night as the ex-Calgary Flames' forward scored his first goal with the Panthers on a pretty passing play with Duclair and Jonathan Huberdeau. In two games so far in the Sunshine state, the former fourth-overall draft pick has recorded three points and is a +4 rating. Needless to say, the change of scenery looks like it's going to work out just fine for Bennett who is loving life with his new teammates in Florida.
