After some rumblings from trade deadline day that teams were calling the Columbus Blue Jackets about Patrik Laine's availability, he came out on Monday night and put on a show.

The Blue Jackets battled the Chicago Blackhawks in a Central Division matchup and even though the Hawks ended up winning 4-3 in overtime, the story of the night was Patrik Laine turning into Bobby Orr to tie the game late in the third period.

This was the type of play that got Laine selected #2 overall in his draft and the type of play that can't get him benched by head coach John Tortorella. Laine showed off his speed, his silky smooth hands and his finishing ability all in one rush.
