Florida Panthers Making Drastic Changes for Game Two

The Florida Panthers put in quite the effort in game one against the Tampa Bay Lightning but unfortunately came up short thanks to a late breakaway goal from Lightning forward Brayden Point. The score ended 5-4 in Tampa's favor as Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky ended up stopping 35 of 40 shots. Turns out that's not good enough and the Panthers are making changes in the crease.

During Tuesday's morning skate goaltender Chris Driedger was in the starter's net and looks to lead the Panthers to a game two victory. The 27-year-old has basically come out of nowhere these past two seasons in the Sunshine state and tallied a 14-6-3 record this year, with an impressive .927 save %.

The Panthers are hopeful they can get some timely saves out of their free-agent to be, who could set himself up for quite the pay raise with a huge playoff performance. The Panthers/Lightning game one was one of the best hockey games of the season and could not have been more intense.

To note, the Cats will be without forward Sam Bennett who was suspended for a questionable hit from behind on Lightning forward Blake Coleman. As for Bobrovsky, the expectation is he and his $10 million contract will back up Dredger for Tuesday's matchup.
