Florida Panthers Making Surprising Roster Changes
The Florida Panthers are down two games to none against the Tampa Bay Lightning and appear to be making some lineup changes ahead of Game 3. Goaltender Chris Driedger starts once again, meanwhile veteran defenseman Keith Yandle appears to be a healthy scratch.
Have checked with NHL: If Yandle does not play tonight, it will not end his consecutive-games streak of 922. That is second-longest of all-time, 42 behind Doug Jarvis for No. 1 https://t.co/YPamMAmrYz

There was a ton of backlash this season when the Panthers were going to sit Yandle in the regular season and end his iron-man streak, but it's the playoffs and none of that kind of stuff matters. The Panthers have been outworked by the Lightning. Yandle for the most part has actually played pretty good, adding two assists these playoffs after 38 points in 56 games.
The Panthers are expected to have Sam Bennett back in the lineup after he served his one-game suspension for his hit on Blake Coleman. As for the rest of the Panthers, appears as of right now Yandle is the only big name coming out of the lineup.
