New York Rangers Fire John Davidson and Jeff Gorton
What a week for the New York Rangers as news has dropped on Wednesday the team has fired President John Davidson and General Manager Jeff Gorton. This comes hours after the team released one of the craziest statements sports has ever seen referring to the Tom Wilson incident.
BREAKING. Shocker. Rangers have fired John Davidson and Jeff Gorton, Post has learned. Chris Drury will remain with organization and will have prominent role.

However, there is word Dolan was unhappy with this NYR season and wanted to make a change. Seems crazy to me, because they have a come a long, long way in two years...but he’s the owner.

The Rangers currently sit with a 26-21-6 record and will miss the playoffs. After winning the draft lottery and with the slew of talent they already had assembled, many felt like this was going to be a huge year for the Rangers and that hasn't been the case at all. Big changes in the Big Apple. Chris Drury, the floor is yours.
