Ottawa Senators Defenseman Done for the Season
The Ottawa Senators have announced defenseman Thomas Chabot will miss the remainder of the season after getting injured during a game versus the Winnipeg Jets.
The Senators best defenseman was hit by Jets towering defenseman Logan Stanley and left Monday's game. While it's not deemed super serious, the injury has warranted him not suiting up for the team's final four games.
Chabot is a bright spot for the Senators as he's flourished throughout his time in Ottawa. This was Chabot's fourth season in the league and he ranks fourth on the team in overall scoring with 31 points in 49 games. He also leads the team in ice-time, averaging just over 26 minutes a night.
