Taylor Hall is Loving Life With the Boston Bruins
Another Boston Bruins victory and another Taylor Hall goal as Monday's was the overtime winner. Hall scored the OT winner against the New York Islanders, in what was a beautiful solo effort. He spoke after the game about how much fun he's having, and it sure sounds like he's finally found a home.
It's been 16 games and it's probably been some of the most enjoyable hockey I've ever played in my career.
Great to see from someone who gambled on the Buffalo Sabres and lost. It was a brutal first half in Buffalo and his production faltered because of it, only scoring twice and adding 17 apples in 37 games. However, since the move to Bean Town, Hall has found his form, scoring 14 points in 16 games, and the Bruins are 12-3-1 since his arrival.
Hall almost signed with the Bruins last summer, instead chose Buffalo, which now looking back makes you scratch your head even more. He's been open about his love for the city of Boston and the franchise so expect to see a 3-5 year extension completed after the playoffs. The Bruins will head to Washington to play the Capitals for round one later this week, and get to renew acquaintances with long-time friend Zdeno Chara.
