Toronto Maple Leafs Set Roster for Game One

The Toronto Maple Leafs are finally back to full health, just in time for what they hope is a long playoff run. The team continues to practice as they gear up for Thursday's game one against the Montreal Canadiens and recently have welcomed back a few names to practice.

Defenseman Zach Bogosian, along with forwards Zach Hyman, Riley Nash and Nick Foligno have all been back to full pace at practice as the team will finally have its "1-A" lineup dressed. Bogosian was recently medically cleared from his shoulder injury after going head first into the boards back in April against the Vancouver Canucks. The X-Factor here of it all could be Nash, he has yet to play for the Leafs and looks to slot in as the #3 center. Nash plays a defensive style game which is perfectly suited to compliment the Leafs and should get a long look on their penalty kill.

Scratches are expected to be forwards Pierre Engvall, Alex Galchenyuk, Adam Brooks, defenseman Travis Dermott who will sit for Rasmus Sandin, and goaltender Jack Campbell will get the start to open to series.

Hyman, Matthews, Marner

For the first time since 1979, Canadiens vs Maple Leafs. The Leafs were 7-2-1 against the Habs this season, let's see if that converts into playoff wins.
