Video: Maple Leafs Auston Matthews Puts on a Show vs Canucks
Auston Matthews is a goal scoring machine who has over 60 goals in his last 82 games played. Is that good? Apparently so, and on Saturday night against the Vancouver Canucks the Toronto Maple Leafs superstar scored two more times.
Mitch Marner asked if it feels like Auston Matthews is always about to score when he's got the puck:

"Well no. I mean, if he's in the D-zone, I don't think so."
Matthews overwhelmed the Canucks with his new line mate Nick Foligno and the passing magician Mitch Marner. Matthews now has 38 goals on the season and has an outside chance at 50 goals this season. Some feel if he's able to reach 50 and the Leafs finish at the top of the North division and near the top of the entire league, he could win the Hart Trophy over Connor McDavid.
The 23-year-old’s second of the night was his league-best 12th game-winner, and moved him one back of Charlie Conacher’s franchise-record 13 in a season.Welcome to the Auston Matthews show:
