It's been an interesting season for the Chicago Blackhawks and on Thursday night it got even weirder as defenseman Duncan Keith was kneed in the face by the linesman during their game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Sure, it makes you wonder how it doesn't happen more often but seeing a player's face connect with the knee of the linesman was a very strange site. The play happened during the first period of a 0-0 game and wouldn't you know it ended in the worst possible way.
