Video: Tom Wilson Goes Down Hard After Knee-On-Knee Hit

Washington Capitals Tom Wilson has been all over the news this week and on Saturday night the spotlight continued to shine. This time it was for a horrible reason as Wilson collided with Philadelphia Flyers forward Nicolas Aube-Kubel knee-on-knee and Wilson certainly got the worst of it.

The Capitals forward stayed down and was eventually helped off the ice. It initially did not look good and would have been a huge damper in the Capitals playoff hopes as Wilson is a key piece to their success. The good news came a little bit later in the night as Wilson did come out for the second period and played the rest of the game.
