Video: Wild Scene As Ryan Graves Tries to Jump Brendan Lemieux

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Ryan Graves did not like what he saw out of LA Kings forward Brendan Lemieux after he laid a hit on his defensive partner Samuel Girard. Graves decided he would try to seek some revenge for watching his d-partner get hit with an open-ice clean NHL body check.

Whatever happened to a solid clean neutral zone body check and you just play on? We don't know either and after seeing this video you may shake your head with the rest of us. This wasn't a dirty hit, it was shoulder to body, no head contact, no leaving his feet and it certainly didn't warrant a fight after.
