2 Potential Landing Spots for Free-Agent Paul Stastny

The Winnipeg Jets have interest bringing back free-agent Paul Stastny but if the veteran hits the open market, there are going to be a number of teams interested in signing him. Stastny recorded 29 points in 56 games this season and his versatility to play down the middle or the wing is what makes him appealing to other teams.

2 Potential Landing Spots for Stastny

St Louis Blues: The Blues are looking to make changes and could be moving Vladimir Tarasenko. The team currently has $32 million in cap space, but only 10 active players signed to the NHL roster Depending on what moves they make of course, but Stastny could be a cheap replacement to fill out their top three lines. He's familiar with the Blues, spending 4 seasons in St Louis and is likely to sign for something around $3 million. There's going to be a ton of turnover in St Louis as they look to be very active this offseason.

Los Angeles Kings: The Kings are done trading away good talent and general manager Rob Blake is looking to keep Drew Doughty happy by adding a couple of forwards to their top-six. While Stastny isn't the player he once was, he could fill in nicely at the #2 center position or on left-wing. Considering the Kings are looking to make a splash, this is certainly setting itself up to be a potential match. He won't be option #1, but he could certainly be a fall back option for Blake and the Kings.
