Canadiens' Joel Edmundson Sends Message to Mark Scheifele
Mark Scheifele of the Winnipeg Jets delivered one of the biggest hits you will ever see, unfortunately it was late, direct contact with the head and completely uncalled for. The recipient Jake Evans of the Montreal Canadiens was stretchered off with an apparent concussion and was in some rough shape. The NHL is likely going to suspend Scheifele for the hit, and whenever he returns to the series, he can expect to feel the wrath of Canadiens defenseman Joel Edmundson.
"If he gets back in the series, we're going to make his life miserable. But I think the league's going to do a good job with that." - Joel Edmundson on the Mark Scheifele hit.

Scheifele is likely going to be suspended for two games, and come Game 4, the spotlight is going to be shining down extremely bright on the back of #55. The Habs have some nasty defenders who don't mind laying lumber a la Chris Pronger in the 90's. The series will get more physical as it goes and this hit has certainly set the tone to say the least. Scheifele will be peaking over his shoulder next time he laces them up...
